OEVE Romania certification program continues at an accelerated pace

One of the oldest programs of the Romanian Consulate, that of professionally scanning restaurants, warehouses and locations that sell wine and to place Certification Plates attesting their good practices, has continued lately also within the Bucharest Legate, two deserving members of the Legate, Gabriel Cioroiu and Mircea Gușoi, supporting on this occasion their personal projects for advancement to the rank of Consiliarius and, respectively, Judex de Vino.

Viceconsul Marius Farmazon and Proconsul 2 Gratzian Mărgărit unveiled the Certification Plates at the Vino Italia shop and two La Mama restaurants (at the University and at the Romanian Peasant Museum Club), each time the enthusiastic participants in these actions were rewarded, in the good knightly tradition, with tastings of selected wines and agape of a high gastronomic level. For instance, during the Vino Italia event, wines were chosen and commented with talent by Hospita Ana Maria Vrînceanu, and in the evening dedicated to La Mama restaurants, the famous host Cătălin Mahu (future member of the Legatus) proposed a gastronomic pairing that was applauded.
