Wine Stories is an OEVE – Consulate Romania project, realized by Eques Dan-Silviu Boerescu, Image Counsellor, and Iudex Gratzian Mărgărit, Consular Paharnic.
In this series, different aspects of wine culture in the world and in Romania are discussed in an accessible synthetic form. Also presented are personalities, areas and noble wines that have written history in the field, from Thomas Jefferson to Robert M. Parker or Lodovico Antinori, from Bordeaux to Tuscany or the New World, or from Sassicaia, Ornellaia, Masseto or Tignanello to Opus One, Romanée-Conti, Cheval Blanc, Margaux or “Sir Winston Churchill” Cuvée – Pol Roger. Also covered are curiosities from the fascinating world of wine, such as the names of wine bottles of different volumes, from 100 ml to Jeroboam, Salmanazar, Melchior or Goliath.
