On 20 May 2023, the OEVE Hungarian Consulate and the Szeged Legate organized the Accreditation Ceremony for new members and induction in rank, at which the Romanian Consulate of the OEVE was represented by Proconsul Marius Farmazon. The ceremony took place at the Catholic Dome in Szeged (Church of the Covenant), and the programme continued with a festive dinner in honour of the new confreres.
The traditional “Szeged Days” festival, Hungary’s largest and longest-running gastro-cultural festival, which brings together tasty food, good wine from Hungary’s famous vineyards and music of all genres, took place on 13-22 May. Hundreds of stands (including over 160 wineries) offered thousands of visitors fine wines and spirits, traditional gastronomic products as well as crafts and curiosities of all kinds.
