One of the most unique events in Arad, dedicated to life’s little pleasures, took place at Expo Arad between October 18 and 20. The event brought together several wine producers from all over the country, including the vineyards of Arad in the areas of Miniș – Ghioroc and Mâsca – Măderat. Among others, Balla Géza, Elite Wine, Maxi-Marc and Crama Miniș were present. Visitors tasted over 300 different wines, spirits and delicacies from over 30 producers from Romania, the Republic of Moldova, Italy, Greece and Hungary. Among the participants were the Recaș, Cotnari, Sâmburești, Hermeziu, Tohani, Brâncoveanu, Caii de la Letea, Silvania, Cricova, Ceptura, Valvis, Darabont, Dealu Mare, Gabani and Andronic wineries. The opening was marked by an event attended by members of the Romanian Consulate of the Ordo Equestris Vini Europae, through the Arad Knight’s Chair, led by Consiliarius Octavian Andronic, promoters of noble wine and local and national traditions. The beginning of the event “Vices and Delights” also included a symbolic opening of champagne with the sword. Eques Sergiu Nedelea, President of the Oenological Commission of the Romanian Consulate of the OEVE, had the honor to officially open this event, after which the Wine Knights of Arad made a tour of honor to all the exhibitors, followed by socializing at the stand dedicated to our organization, where information about the activity of the Order was offered.
