Lovers of the noble damf have been to the leading wine cellars in the Gironde department, located – “Entre-Deux-Mers” – between the Garonne and the Dordogne, as well as to Saint-Emilion or Cognac to taste the wines and distillates that Robert Parker and James Suckling score over 90 points.
This happened on May 12-17, the group included older or newer Knights of Wine, such as Eques Burcă and Eques Bunea, or Judex Boghiu, Judex Niculiță, Judex Bardașu or Judex Postolache. But it was not the ranks and dignities that mattered, but the common joy of discovering on the spot the best that the wine-growing region has to offer, obviously always paired with the unique flavor of a plate of fresh oysters or the blessed aromas of a cassoulet prepared with great flair by a maître de cuisine.
A drive through Bordeaux can sometimes be the most precious thing to experience!
