
The Knightly Festival of Romanian Wine debuted in 2019, along with the establishment of the National Day of Romanian Wine and Gastronomy, as an event tied to this important celebration, with the primary goal of promoting local wine and culinary culture as part of our national identity.

FRIDAY, October 2, 2026 / CHIȚORANI / casual attire with leggings / in honor of the Harvest Festival, participants are encouraged to optionally wear an item of clothing specific to the traditional costume of their region of origin
- 4:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Coach transfer from Hotel Central Ploiești to Hill House Chițorani
- 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Proclamation of the Harvest Festival and Announcement of the 2026 Knights’ Wine
- 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Wine tasting organized by partner wineries
- 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Contemporary traditional Romanian dinner
- 11:00 p.m. – 11:20 p.m. Coach transfer on the Hill House Chițorani – Hotel Central Ploiești route

SATURDAY, October 3, 2026 / PLOIEȘTI
- 3:00 p.m. – Participants meet in front of the Central Hotel in Ploiești / knightly attire with insignia
- 3:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Parade of knights along the route from the Central Hotel to the Palace of Culture, accompanied by the Military Band
- 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Chivalric ceremony in the Hall of Columns at the Palace of Culture
- 5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Parade of knights along the route from the Palace of Culture to the Central Hotel, accompanied by the Military Band
- 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Free time for guests / preparations for the Knights’ Ball
- 7:00 p.m. – midnight Wine Knights Ball (Central Hotel, Crystal Ballroom) / black-tie attire, bow tie, tuxedo pants
